Joshua
On the plains of Moab, Moses declares to a new generation the required covenant obligations of the people of God and the rejection thereof because of their fathers’ spiritual degeneracy. The Pentateuch ends as the people are on the cusp of attaining the land promised to their ancestors. In the opening chapter the people are admonished by Moses’ successor, Joshua, to follow God and do Torah.
