Grammar of Akkadian with new Hebrew Appendix

Last week Eisenbrauns announced the third edition of John Huehnergard’s A Grammar of Akkaidan. Akkadian Grammar
Amongst a variety of updates and revisions, a new appendix of Akkadian cognates found in Hebrew, Syriac, GeĘżez, and several other related languages has been added that may be of some help to those interested in comparative etymology/lexicography. These updates and Appendix F are available as a free downloadable PDF.

Dead Sea Scroll Images Online

In cooperation with Google, the Israeli Museum Jerusalem has placed five of the most well known Dead Sea Scrolls online viewable in high resolution images. The texts included so far in the project are the Great Isaiah Scroll, the Community Rule Scroll, the Commentary on Habakkuk Scroll, the Temple Scroll, and the War Scroll.

CAD Complete & Online

After 90 years, the Chicago Assyrian Dictionary is finally complete with the publication of Volume 20 U/W. All of the volumes are available for purchase or as free searchable PDFs.
