Verse 17

• One also finds הנה introducing a vision in Gen. 37:7 (J-M 121f).
• The participle is functioning verbally with the speaker as the expressed subject (GKC 116o).  The pronoun does not follow the particle (הנה אני), but attaches as a suffix, הנני.
